Interesting...

I thought this would make for an interesting debate with learners.

I've included it in my recent presentation: Caribbean English: Language Variety  and Language Change and it’s effect on literacy  learners and teaching.

Still trying to work out how to download a PP to my blog!!!! Until then have a read below....

Welcome back...

Whoa....

It's been a long time since I've ventured near my blog.
So long in fact that I'm needing mighty practise...

Am back to swotting again
Having just begun a course on English Literacy I want to insert a couple of links to the topic in hand at the present time.

ACCENTS
How different are they? Below there are two links to the concept of language.

I thought it may prove interesting to listen to my own accent in more depth than I normally would before commencing further. (Original used as part of course work 2013)

This might be useful as a resource for my department. It's an extract from a colleagues' blog using Audioboo.

It could be used as part of a presentation on various topics
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Dyslexia

It could be used as part of a bank of resources towards presenting a short introduction on how e-teaching is so beneficial to teaching and learning...
I just become more and more impressed every day, thanks to the e-teaching team I have discovered ways to create and diversify many new resources and adapt my old ones.
